I want help as my laptop gets stuck at lock screen every time I turn it on. I had tried restarting it again and again but still it don't go any where next to lock screen. I could see the clock on lock screen(it's also working) and also my internet connections but none of the keys or touchpad are working.
Kindly resolve my problem as right now I have no access to my PC.

You mean you see the lock screen like some one is log on the computer ?

If this is the case you probably are not shutting it down and it`s only sleeping. Remove the battery wait 1 min and plug it back in.  Turn on the computer after that and should have the normal log on screen.

I could only see the lock screen but could not use it.
I had tried removing battery but still of no use.
What my problem is that generally you press any key and the lock screen disappears giving you the log on screen where you select an account and enter password.
But right now I am not getting access to that screen either.
It looks like that windows is not detecting my keyboard or mouse maybe.

Does this issue occur when you use the following method to lock the machine:

Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, select Lock

Please also set your power plan to High performance and see if it works?

1. Select logging boot processes in F8 menu. Analyze thsi log file and share what you have found.

2. Do HDD and memory diagnostics with tools from HDD vendor and free memtest tool.

3. Safe mode (again via F8) will allow you to get info from event logs.
