Laptop requires Network Security Key
The security key would be part of the router's wireless connection settings. If the PC is wireless as well you might find it by looking at the properties of the PC's wireless connection.
But it sounds like the PC uses a wired Ethernet connection, which wouldn't require a security key.
So, if you don't have it written down and saved somewhere, about the only way to find it is to log in to the router (from the PC) and take a look at
its wireless settings. Otherwise you're going to have to reset the router to factory settings (look in the router's manual to find how to do this) and reconfigure it all over again.

When trying to set up a Home Network the Laptop connection to the PC via a router(Netgear) requires a Network Security Key. Is there a location or file that would have the key or password available for the Administrator to view and make the changes or entries
needed?
The PC has the Internet and has established a Home Network. The Laptop keeps asking for the Key information. I don't remember putting in a Security Key to my PC System. The laptop does make connection at other locations(school, office and daughters home).
Suggestions?
