Libraries jumping folders
Hi there, I dont know if this has been addressed or not - i did a search but found nothing similar. When adding a folder to a library, for example C:/myfiles and the folder myfiles has a subfolder of the same name c:/myfiles/myfiles, only the contents of the subfolder of the same name is shown although its listed correctly as C:/myfiles in the library. can anyone else try this example and see if it is indeed a bug or if my mind is going. thanks

DL - OK.. So if I got this straight - you have a folder located at "C:\My Files" and it has a subfolder also called "My Files" (C:\My Files\My Files). And you're only seeing the contents of the sub folder - not the parent folder in the library.I tried setting this scenario up and created two folders - C:\MyFiles and C:\My Files\My Files. I then dropped two dummy files - Test 1.txt and Test 2.txt into each folder respectively and then added the root folder C:\My Files to the Documents Library. When I went to look in the library, I saw both Test 1.txt and Test 2.txt in there. Doesn't appear to be a bug on my end. But you might consider creating a moreunique folder name for the sub folder. It'll certainly help figure this problem out AND help you maintain your sanity... No sense driving yourself nuts trying to remember which folder's which...
