Local area conncection unplugged
I have not been able to surf the internet for months now, I recently fixed the wireless internet connection between my desktop to my laptop however the local area connection still remains unplugged. It use to work fine, and works fine for my my desktop pc and my brother's laptop - however my laptop does not! (it's a samsung nc10 notebook) using XP.The local area connection offers me the option to 'disable' so i do not think that means anything is wrong with my NC card?1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi chelsea123, Thanks for posting. Instead of disable do you have the option to enable? Also please go to your manufacturer site and download the latest drivers for your network card. Finally please make sure you are using a known good working network cable when testing this. Hope this helps.Shawn - Support Engineer - MCP, MCDST Microsoft Answers Support Engineer Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think
