Locked up Oxc00000e9 issue...
I'm on a mac right now and not too happy bout it. My Asus i just got 3 months ago just gave me the \Boot\BCD error and i've done everything i've known how to do. I tried plugging everything in that was attached before the error and restarted and several
combinations; however, nothing is working AND I can't get passed this black screen to try anything else. The recovery discs wont even take it to another screen. I tried hitting F8. Is there anything i can do besides to send it to the manufacturer?

Apparently your error indicates a problem with the hard drive - a hardware failure. Your only option is to contact Asus for assistance.Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hi,
It should be a hardware problem.
First, please go to perform a
Startup Repair.
System Repair
==========
1) Restart your computer and press F8 at the Startup.
2) Select Repair your computer at Advanced Boot Options.
3) Choose System Repair in System Recovery Options.
4) After System Repair is finished, restart the computer to test the issue.
If the issue persists, please go to update BIOS and chipset or restoring it to default settings first. Some users resolved this error by disabling AHCI in BIOS. For the detailed steps about how to configure BIOS, please refer to the computer manufacturer.
In addition, if any unnecessary hardware device is connected, please remove it.
Regards,
Sabrina
