Logon Screensavers without Direct3D
On our older XP images we always ran a screensaver at the logon window. So if no one was logged into a machine the screensaver would activate and display html files from an internal webserver. This gave us the flexibility to easily change what the screensaver
was showing on the fly.
Now in Windows 7 I have learned that Direct3D is not accessible until after a user is logged in for security reasons. Unfortunately this broke the screensaver we were using. The screensaver works great when someone is logged in,
but it just throws an error when it is run at the logon screen.
I am having a lot of trouble finding a new screensaver that will work at the logon screen. The only one I have seen that works is the ssmypics.scr from XP. So I was wondering if anyone knew of any screensavers that might work, as it is impossible to
tell which ones use Direct3D without testing them out.

Hi,
Based on my understanding, the logon screensaver do not support D3D.
Otherwise, I find a similar thread below for your reference.
