I have been told that the services on AOL for security can not be used for windows 7 at this time. I found the best security so far is free from AVG, but I would like to know what other people with experience think. AVG was easy to install and use. I am thinking about buying their highest protection package. What do you think out there?

Hi Timmiley,give it a try for MSE(Morro or Microsoft Security Essentials) not sure if its still available for download,but i use it and love it ,reasons:100% compatiable ,incredibly fast it doesnt feel like you running an antivrus suite,one of the best in detection rate and hardly ever will give you a false positive diagnostic...so my opinion i have tested almost all of them the one it fit perfect for my pc was MSE ,your choice and your joy ^^Kind regards,RR

Short answer... Avast. I've used it for a long time, put it in many client machines, have heaps of respect for it & it works very nicely on indows 7 both 32 & 64-bit.I, also, have had the oportunity, since starting w/ Windows 7 back in January, to try a few others & end up recommending Avast.
