Losing network connectivity
ASUS NSE II, 2 NVidia networking controllers. Since install (great OS BTW) my machine has dropped offline 2 or 3 times, now although Device manager recognizes the drivers and ports I now cannot connect to network because Win cannot resolve IP address. I have diagnosed with no results. I have tried both ports, and 3 cables. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. Drivers say they are working. I have hooked up wirless and it works. Any ideas about this problem? I did a clean install from a reformatted drive.

I am having the same issue. Tried connecting to both my wireless N and Wireless G networks after the drop off and it only comes up as an "Unidentified Network". The only way I have found to reliably fix it is to restart the machine.

if you cant resolve ip check ip settings and try to give manuel p adress and check your adsl modem dhcp is working if your machine takes p adresss automatic last, you can add pc ethernet controller, or maybe wrong driver, you need to rollback in safe mode l can say those things l hope so it s gone be allright good luck...
