Loss of private folder information
My p.c. recently went wrong and I did the full windows restore (with backup) to (so i thought) safeguard all my photos, msgs, etc. When it restored it has created a folder BACKUP.... with all the user info in it, this is fine for the limited user accounts but to protect all the info in my admin account I checked the 'make this folder private' box in the 'sharing & security' tab and this appears to now be inaccessible since the restore, when I try to open it to copy out the my documents files it responds with 'access denied' error message!?!?! a virusscan of the folder tells me that all my files are still in there intact but I am unable to access them, does anyone know if there is a way round this?!??any help hugely appreciated, my own fault for not backing up sooner but still doesnt help when you've lost all your personal files since the year dot!Thanks1 person needs an answerI do too
