Hi, I make something very stupid and I lost my administrative privileges. I tried to remove the login screen as I am the only user using my laptop following the link http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/377-log-automatically-startup.html However I don't know what I did wrong using netplwiz and know when I want to do something which requires administrative rights the Yes button is disable I I can not do anything to proceed further even I can not run anything as administrator and etc. Please help urgetly. I didn't have a pasword asigned for my account or for administrator. Thanks. Please help how to solve this issue.

Try a system restore on the system in order to role back the change.

I tried but system restore is only for software changes not for system one if I am not wrong.

Hello Vladimir Grigorov, "System Restore" is capable of resolving this issue, but I would suggest you use it from your Windows 7 installation DVD. You need to access "System Recovery Options" and there choose "System Restore", as follows: The following is an extract from my course notes (but I am unable to include any graphics). (Please be aware that normally my carrier returns are not saved when posting these messages): - - - - Copy notes start: - - - - Accessing System Recovery Options from Win 7 Installation DVD/Repair your computer Option: 1) Upon turning on machine, do F2 (or follow screen instructions) to open BIOS. Make DVD drive the First Boot Device, and exit saving changes. 2) Insert Windows Installation DVD. The DVD has to be spinning and recognised for the system to stop at it, so if the system does not see it first time, [leave DVD in drive] you will need to restart the machine! 3) Following displays: Press any key to boot from CD or DVD_. Press any key to proceed. 4) Wait for Windows 7 to Load Files: No user intervention is required, nor are any changes made to your computer, during this process. Windows is loading files : 5) Install Windows Enter your language and other preferences Step:/ Choose: Language/ Time and Currency format/ Keyboard or Input method/ Click Next. 6) Install Windows Install now Step:/ Click: Repair your computer (bottom-left). Warning: Where as here, we wish to carry out a Repair of Windows, do NOT click the Install now button, because this option performs a Clean or Parallel Install of Windows 7! 7) System Recovery Options Searching for Windows installations Step:/ Wait for System Recovery Options to locate Windows 7 on your computer. 8) System Recovery Options Step:/ Leave the default Bolted as: Use recovery tools Click: Next. 9) System Recovery Options Choose a recovery tool Step:/ Choose "System Restore", and choose a Restore Point prior to your issue. - - - - End of copy notes - - - - I hope this helps. Hi , Do you mean the "Yes" is greyed out on User Account Control and the administrator account have been changed to standard user account? Have you tried to turn off the Automatically Log On feature?
