Battery indicator  shows me that battery is empty in METRO (even when I am charging it). In desktop it says that "no battery was detected". My device is 3 weeks old. (Nokia Lumia 2520, Windows 8.1 RT)

did any of the generic fixes on that link help you? i did a restore but kept all personal settings ect with no luck. wonder if you found somthing that solves the no batteries detected issue.

Nothing of that helped. I didnt even kept personal settings during restore. I will probably send the device back. It seems like no problem, but it really pisses me off.

I can first help you to check the power condition, please open cmd.exe and run this command:

powercfg -energy

Please post back the output file. You can upload it into Onedrive or similar network location, and share the link here.
