Lync 14.0.5 for Mac (Kerberos Issues)

We have deployed the 14.0.5 Lync update to several clients before releasing it to all our uses and the updated clients all stopped working.  All were working fine immediately prior to the update.  The Lync software on these workstations uses kerberos for authentication.  We verified that kerberos is working correctly on the machines (they are mounting shares via kerberos and the previous version of Lync worked, as mentioned).

After the upgrade Lync crashes upon launch.  I have verified this on OS versions ranging from 10.6.8 to 10.8.4.

Reconfiguring the affected clients to use user name and password authentication (instead of kerberos) works around the problem, but we don't fancy doing that to hundreds of workstations.

Hard to believe that a problem this repeatable would get through QA.

Is there a fix for the 14.0.5 "fix"?

Hi
Have you also appiled the latest version of update for Lync Server?
Please try to remove Lync client, remove lync profile, reinstall Lync and update it again to test the issue.

I am not aware of the version of Lync server we are running.  But we had no problems running the previous version of Lync (14.0.4).  Only since updating to 14.0.5 did the crashing occur.  It only occurs when using kerberos authentication.  If I switch the client to user name and pw authentication, it works.  I am trying to determine what we need to do to get it working with kerberos authentication.
