Hi Guys

I found that i can't reinstall Lync 2010 when i removed it from my computer. i deleted all files concerning Lync 2010, but i get a error while i install Lync 2010, " another version of Lync 2010 is activiting..............." did somebody encounter this before? please help me to figure it out. thanks.

Please check if you have any versions of lync client, attendee, live meeting, attendant client installed. If so, uninstall it. On more than a few occasion, I had to use http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/windows_installer_cleanup_utility.html . The utility showed Lync 2010 client as installed even though it wasn't showing up in programs &features.

thank you! but i figured it out. I removed Lync 2010 in a  irregularly way, so i found i couldn't install it any more. with this situation, i runed OCSetupLauncher.exe, it's working! and i installed it successfully.

Explore C:\Program Files (x86)\OCSetup, run Lync.msi file to repair or remove Lync 2010.

go to the Registry and look for all "Communicator" related objects and remove them. restart it afterwords.
