I have three user who is reporting to same manager but their Organization Hierarchy is not appeared in Lync. It;s not showing heir manage name . All Ad setting looks good and it is appearing in outlook .
I am expecting to appeared like this way
Is it possible that there is a missing AD manager attribute or break between the users and managers above?
How many managers are above? More than 2 (hierarchy levels) upwards?
There is no break between the user and manager and manger's manger in AD. same hierarchy is viable in Outlook and Lync 2013 but issue with Lync 2010 only . no one can see the A B and C hierarchy if using lync 2010
A B and C reporting to D where D is manager
When I am looking into D hierarchy in Lync the screen appeared like this
But when I am looking into A B or C hierarchy screen look like this
Hi S Parihar,
Some suggestions that you can try:
1.1 Delete and re-enter the manager for the affected user username in Active Directory.
1.2 Run Update-CsUserDataBase to force Back-End to re-read all the user-related information stored in Active Directory Domain Services.
1.3 Delete the .slabs file from the file share sitting on X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000 folder
1.4 Run Update-CsAddressBook
1.5 Delete client side Lync profile.
If it still does not work, I think it might be the client side issue.
2.1 Test with another computer.
2.2 Make sure Lync 2010 is up to date.
Hope it can be helpful.
Best regards,
Eric
