I have Lync 2010 on a Motorola Droid Razr, it worked great until the last android update to 4.2.1 (or at least it seems to coincide with the last update), now it will run but when getting an IM it will hang and finally crash after the first message.  

I was going to try the 2013 app but we have version control enabled on our corp 2010 deployment, so 2013 will not login.

Any thoughts?

Please uninstall Lync client and install it again to have a test.

Agree with Eason, uninstall and re-install Lync 2010. Also check Lync 2010 updated on Google store.
