I am new to Lync  attempting to set up Lync 2013 in a lab environment. From the deployment wizard, I assigned default certificates. Lync front end server will not start. I receive the following error after cert install.

WARNING: The subject name  of the certificate does not match the computer fully qualified domain name (FQDN)

Any ideas how to fix this?

Looks like you certificate does not contain all necessary FQDN names.

which FQDN does you certificate include?

Did you solve the issue with the help of Holger provided?

Please also double check if you have the correct permission (a member of the Domain Admins group and the RTCUniversalServerAdmins group) to run Deployment Wizard.
