Lync training

I looked at some of the related threads for lync training, but it seemed to be that it is mostly for Lync server training or certificates.

I am the "lead" for Lync at my office, but it is only for the client. I am not involved in the server at all. So would there be training for the client? I am hoping for some really good "nuts and bolts" of the client. For instance, I have a thread about changing the codec for Lync ( which you can't do ) but the responses had what type of codec the Lync client uses. I would like to know that kind of stuff. Or some really good troubleshooting. Any ideas?
