Hi there i recently used the files and settings transfer wizard in Windows 7 to back up my data to an external hard drive. I then reverted back to XP because I don't like Windows 7. Now I cannot restore my files because XP doesn't recognise the MIG format. The obvious thing would be to reinstall Windows 7 but when I try to do that I am getting a Code 5 error.....aaaaagh is there a way to make XP accept the MIG back up ...please help lots of important files.
