MS SBS 2011 - Connect - connecting client PC
We are upgrading from a 'workgroup' to a domain. We have a new Dell PE 510 server running Small Business Server 2011 std as the domain controller, When using the 'connect' application for joining the client win7 pro computers with existing user profiles to the Small Business Server 2011 domain, the 'connect' application does not find/have/offer the old user login/profile to copy the user settings from. I need to preserve all of the user settings, data and profiles and be able to join the domain. I found a help file that tells what to do for an win xp pro machine but nothing for win 7. I have tried sharing the user folder, C: drive and every other file I can think of on the client machines.
