Major Windows Update Problem
Running Windows Vista Home Premium, Fresh Install and fresh format. 64-bit.
The header of the Window that pops up when I click the Windows Update icon in the start menu
C:\Windows\System32\wuapp.exe
(X) The version of this file in not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 ( 64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.
This is strange, really because I have not had any other problems with it, when I click the Windows Update in Computer>Properties it works fine. It is just bothering the living *** out of me that the Start Menu link does not work.
Please, is it possible something got messed up in the installation? because like I said I hope I do not have to reformat. I will reply to messages as soon as I possibly can need to take a shower right now but I will return, Please help.

Yes, but I did not find a forum specifically for Windows Update.
I guess I will have to reinstall. If it does this again I will not be a happy camper.
This is a brand new computer.
