Used VIPRERescue to get rid of malware and was informed that things would stop working. I wasn't told how to start things back again. 1) No audio device - says no active mixer devices available. 2) System restore will not restore before April 20th. That doesn't help me as I had malware on my computer for 6 days. 3) Windows Defender won't update - Error Code 0x80072efd. 4) System configuration utility - There are a lot of services listed and a lot of them say status is stopped including my firewall. If anybody has the time to help me with all these and probably more I would greatly appreciate it. Tired of dealing with people on the phone who I can't understand ( no offense to anybody)
