I'm running a new pc, windows 7 home premium used for work purposes only and when i connect via software to a remote database server (which is used by fellow colleagues with no problems at all) I get constant "timeouts" "unhandled exception" and its very unresponsive and sometimes even difficulty simply logging on. I have updated Microsoft framework to 4.0 and have contacted my ISP to ensure the connection is operating correctly which having been checked I have been assured it is. The provider has assured that everything is good and well with the connection and physically everything appears to be fine.
