Good Morning..

My Forefront server was crashed so have to rebuilt it. I have installed forefront, add all the production server and have deployed agent. Four job has been created, Product activation, deployment, redistribution and report. The deployments of some engine is  getting failed, In the SharePoint servers I am getting below error message in event log.Microsoft Forefront Protection encountered an error while performing a scan engine update.
   Scan Engine: Kaspersky
   Update Path: http://Forefront servername/FPSMCRedistribution/engines/amd64/Kaspersky
   Proxy Settings: Disabled
   Error Code: 0x80004005
   WinHttpClient send request returned an invalid return code 500.

This event is getting generated for Kaspersky, Norman , Microsoft and Command.

Any resolution or reference will be greatly appreciated.

Firstly please update your FEP to the latest version: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2508121/en-us

After then, check the following folders for a file named storage520.dat and delete it if it exists, then try a manual update:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky SDK\

C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky SDK\
