Just checking into see whether anybody found a solution to this?

I am also trying to install the latest firmware however, the device keeps rebooting itself and loses connection.

I had the same issue and resolved it with a new power supply. If you have some practice in electronics repair you can change only the power board in the power supply box. You can buy it at an online store VOF-45-15 for about $ 25
