Missing Security Tab on Local hard drive Properties
in win7 ultimate 64b the security tab in properties of local hard drive is not shown & drive is not accessible by admin

Do check if you are using NTFS file system, because i believe you're still using FAT. use the "convert" command for the hard drive you want to migrate to NFTS in your command window just make sure you have Administrator privileges. MVP Windows Security

Hi Mnazari, Click Start, input the gpedit.msc in the search bar and enter into the Local Group Policy Editor. Navigate to: User Configuration – Administrative Templates, Windows Components – Windows Explorer Find the item: Remove Security tab, what the state of it? Check it to "not configured" or "disabled", then apply. Now check if the Security Tab comes back.
