Mobile Device Center inconsist with connecting mobile devices.
I have problems getting a good connection and sync with my HTC HD2 to my Windows 7 X64 desktop. I have installed WMDC 6.0/6.1 on Windows 7 x64 and after going through all of the flakiness if getting it installed I do get a good connection and sync.
The HD2 shows up as a Mobile Device in Device Mgr. and a Windows Mobile Remote Adapter shows up under Network Adapters.
However, if I disconnect the mobile device and then reconnect it the connection fails. The Windows Mobile Remote Adapter shows up but the HD2 does not get listed under Mobile Devices. RapiMgr event 6 and 8 errors are logged in the event logs.
I have to reboot the HD2 to get a good connection and sync again.
I installed the Windows 7 SP1 build 7601 in hopes that there would be a fix there but that had no effect. Given that I get a good connection after rebooting the mobile device you might suspect the mobile device as the problem but the same symptoms
occur with an iriver H20 portable music player.
How go you get Windows Mobile Device Center to behave correctly?

About RapiMge event 6, you can refer:
