I recently downloaded ms money sunset . I made shortcut and changed the icon to the one I have used for msmoney for years. The default icon changes to my bank icon but it will not pin to the task bar. What is the problem here?

Unpin the application from the taskbar. Open the application normally so that it shows the correct icon. Right-click on the opened application's icon and select Pin to Taskbar.
