I have windows xp home. Recently bought new hardrive & using recovery dvds, recovered everything. it all works great except system freezes everyday. Hard reboot is the only way to recover. Freezes appear to be mouse related, sometimes with ie 8 running, sometimes not. I have searched for updated drivers, I have unistalled and reinstalled mouse/keyboard but same thing continues; the mouse will just freeze, hard drive spins and hard reboot is only recover. In windows safe mode, mouse never freezes. I also have OE windows xp professional. Should I attempt upgrade?3 people need an answerI do too
