I can change the mouse pointer to something other than the default but it reverts to the default upon a cold boot. Any suggestions?

Hi Bourk,I noticed that you occurred with this kind of issue onreseting the default sound too. I suspect that whether youlog on with administrator account and if there is any configuration on Group Policy. Do you usea domain user profile? Please also check if you enable themes to change mouse pointers in Mouse Pointer panel, try to uncheck this item to see if it works.Best Regards.Dale Qiao
