Move an office from Domain to a Workgroup
Small office. Server is running NT and will be replaced by just a plain old XP Pro PC. 2 client PC's running XP are networked to the NT server via Domain. 2 other XP PC's are networking via Workgroup. The office would like to move away from the domain environment and just utilize Workgroup on all 4 PC's. Once the NT server is replaced with te XP Pro PC/Server and the Domain is gone, how can the 2 PC's that were connected to the NT Server via Domain retain their data/information? Or, will I need to reinstall everything under a Workgroup?1 person needs an answerI do too
