Move my Windows Live Mail from C: to D:
Hi
By default my Windows Live Mail folders location is C:\Users\Home\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail.
My C: drive is getting dangerously full, and so want to move my Windows Live Mail to my D: partition.
It looks like it would be too simple to just amend the path to point to D: and everything would just move over, so please could I be pointed to a procedure for doing this ?
Looking in the C: location above, there is tons of other stuff which I would be reluctant to move manually in case something screws up.
Many thanks,
Mike.

hi,
i think it's necessary to move your default Profil location C:\Users\home , and it not possible to move only this directory "C:\Users\Home\AppData
\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail".
this procedure it s possible with MKLINK command and a need many modifications in the Registry

Hey Mikey;
This third party program:
http://www.staticbackup.com/windows-live-mail-backup
is an easy solution. I used it to move Windows live from one system to another perhaps it will work for your situation as well.
The 20 day free trial version is fully functional so it can't hurt to try.
Hope this helps you out
