Multiple Networks- Loose Internet Conection
I have 2 computers in my office. Both are connected to a wireless Internet in the building, which is shared by other tenants. In an effort to network both computers together i have purchased a router and plugged both computers into it. This caused my intenret to stop working. In network and sharing center on top it says: (this PC) - (Multiple Networks) x (Internet). When I disable the wired network, everything goes back to normal and internet works just fine. Please help.

Hi, Thank you for posting. Regarding the issue, since the computer is connected to two differentnetworks, it may not work properly due to default gateway and route settings. Meanwhile, I would like to share the following related documents with you: Default Gateway Configuration for Multihomed Computers http://support.microsoft.com/kb/157025 The IP routing table http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc779122.aspx Hope this helps.
