My XP Has Lost Its IP Address
Windows XP SP3 all fixes, on other computer. I now cannot access my ISP, as I have lost my IP address. Also, other items such as sound device are missing. If it's relevant, the night before, I was using a program called Autoruns, which shows programs running automatically on a computer. I deleted some references which I thought were not needed, to speed things up. It's possible that I deleted something I shouldn't have, possibly even a regisrty entry.I have tried network repair, and keep getting messages about the Winsock and YCP/IP not being configured properly. All the Windows components are installed, though.Any help or advice would be very much appreciated !ThanksJ1 person needs an answerI do too
