My addresses in my Outlook Express 6 address book disappeared__
I have an old computer with Windows XP operating system and Outlook Express 6 that I am transferring data from to a new laptop with Windows 7. I exported my files and then realized that my address book was empty. I ran a search on the old computer in hidden files and everything for *.wab and *.csv and only found the empty file. I hadn't used my address book in several days and I am not certain when the addresses disappeared. I had downloaded Microsoft Easy Transfer and run it which may or may not have anything to do with it. My address book shows "shared" and "Main Identity" contacts which I don't remember noticing before but both files are empty. I had a few hundred addresses but no where near the 999 cutoff. Where did they go and how can I get them back?1 person needs an answerI do too

The export file did not have anything in it so it was not transferred to Windows Live. I went back to the old computer to do it again and found that the OE address file was empty. I don't know when the addresses disappeared because I hadn't used them in a week or so. I don't know if the export process did something or if they disappeared when I installed Easy Transfer on the old computer or if it was something else?
