OK, I found the driver on the Gateway web site and copied it to a CD. Now how do I install it on the computer? Thanks for the help!

Run it. It may be zipped or something - but it is probably a stand-alone installer. If not - you would find the network controller with an exclamation mark next to it in the Device Manager listing and right-click and update its driver - pointing to (browsing to) the one you downloaded/unzipped.)
