My downloads Freezes with wireless connection.
My problem is with wireless internet. I access a hospital internet service. When I use the cable internet I canmake downloads, but when I use the wireless internet my downloads freezes in begning (the downloads stop). I can't, for exemplo, make a update of my antivirus or Windows, or another other downloads that I need. I can navigate in internet, only downloads and videos (like youtube) dont work. The videos and downloads stops in the begning. I tried a many things, and turn off the firewall, but nothing fix this problem. The wireless signal is excellent and the driversare ok.Thanks for help. Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 32bits. Wireless card: Realtek RTL8187B wireless 802.11b/g 54Mbps USB 2.0 NotebookGateway T-1628 (model w350A)with AMD turion 64x2 processorPS. This computer is new, less than2 weeks.And the downlods in wireless never worked. Sorry for my english, its improving.

well, i thing that may be in the hospital the red has restricted areas or pages, so that you can't use your programs (any p2p or torrent, etc). It allways happend in that cases. It is a systemof regulation to aovid traffics problems or servers collapses...

I think the problem occur because an incompatibility with the router, I found another wireless signal, and I do not have problem with downloads, but it is weak and instable. I have problem with downloads only with the stronger signal. I think that something in Windows Vista is incompatible with the router of the stronger wireless signal. Others can make downloads using the stronger wireless signal, and I cannot. Thanks to request. Does someone have a tip about this?

I don't know the Router model...I'm in a Hospital. Basically is a public server.
