My first IT Contract
I've just been offered my first Contract and it's for 12 Client computers, no Server(s). I really want to get this right on the first go round so I need verification / clarification on the equipment and processes that I will be implementing. First,
the internet connection is cable; next we have to ensure that all 12 computers have internet access through this connection. Now I've taken the N+ class, but it was years ago, so here is my consideration: Router / 16 port Switch / XP Clients. The network is
pretty basic, two administrators, the rest just clients. I need to know if this connection schematic would be sufficient enough that each client computer will have internet access, sufficient speed, and the capability of connecting to a Network printer, Please..PLEASE
share opinions or methods thats best to accomplish this! Any ideas also on how to accomplish setting up the admin / Client computer network configurations will be also greatly appreciated!!
