How do you know? Has this issue popped up from before?Another thing, is ther any known way to have it work with Windows 7? Because I still have alot of my subscription left, and I do not want t waste it.

When you launch Windows 7 for the first timeone of the first messages that pops up from the handy Action Center (The Little white flag in your tray area) is that you should install an Anti-Virus solution. If you click on that link and click through to theweb page with suggested AV solutions there are currently 3 suggested versions of the software.Norton 360KasperskyAVGAll 3 are also beta software so they come with all the same risks that running beta software entails. As the software that you have purchased is designed to work with currently released products it's difficult to tell if or when the retail product your using will work on Windows 7. For information on plans for Windows 7 support I would suggest consulting with the software Vendor. Daniel Nerenberg MCT MCSE MCITP MCTS MVP

OP here.Norton Internet Security 2008 is not compatible with Windows 7.It doesn't matter anyway, Kapersky is much lighter and the beta lasts until the Windows 7 beta ends. This thread is now solved.

Actually, NIS '09 is compatible with Windows 7. I installed it in the Windows Vista compatibility mode and it's been working great for the past two weeks. I did try NIS '08 with the same approach, but it would not install.
