Hi,
This issue can be caused by the audio driver. You need to contact with the audio card manufacturer for the latest audio driver to support Windows 7. Then reinstall
audio card driver.
And which game did you play? Did this issue occur with all games or a special game? Please check the game is compatible with Windows 7 or not. You can check it on
Windows 7 Compatibility Center
For WMP error "encountered a problem while playing the file”, you can try to re-register file related to Windows Media Player.
1. Click Start>> click on All Programs >> click on Accessories >> right click on Command Prompt>>
click on Run as Administrator.
2. Type "regsvr32 wmp.dll" without the quotes.
3. Hit OK to the prompt and restart your computer afterwards.
Also please check codec in WMP, you can reinstall it for test.
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Leo
