Hi ; I'm using windows 7 ultimate . I have crated a folder ( TEST FOLDER ) and I managed the permission for a user named ; Test . and the advanced permission setting are as follows ; the test user will have read " I just checked to allow for List folder/Read data " yet I checked DENY for " READ ATTRIBUTES AND READ EXTENDED ATTRIBUTES " . when log in with Test , and I get properties for that folder ( TEST FOLDER ) , I can sea the attributes !!!!!! WHY ? WHY ? needless to say that the only users that have permission for that folder ( TEST FOLDER ) are ; ADMINISTRATOR and Test . I have the same problem in the field of READ PERMISSIONS

Hi Fellows.I am using Windows 7 Home Premium ed and Enterprise ed.I am as Administrator user (with adiminstrator´s rights).I'm in problems with software installations such as: MS Money, MS Flight Simulator 2004 and MS Combat Fligth Simulator 3 and others packages.When software installation starts, all folders are created with READ ONLY attibutes. MSI can not continue in copying files and sub-folders resulting in errors. I can not change folders' ATTRIBs even being folder's Creator.Installations delay "centuries" and end with error (or is cancelled by Op).Even disabling UAC the problem continues.Does anyone have the problem?Ronnie Lara
