Need a good PSU to fix underpowered system. Any suggestions?
I'm looking for a good PSU to power my currently underpowered system. Anything under 100$. Here are the Specs: Phenom x4 9750 2.4ghz 8 (4xGb) DRR2-800 memory Gateway RS780 Motherboard Hitachi 1Tb 7200 RPM XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 1Gb (Juniper) 1 DVD-RW/DVD+RW drive 300 Watt PSU I got my eyes on both those PSUs but which one looks the best? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371016 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151096 I've heard that modular PSUs may cause 0.25% power loss due to the fact that they're modular.

The one I use and whole-heartedly recommend is an Antec EarthWatts EA-500D Green 500W. Carey Frisch

I bought this one a couple of months ago, and am happy so far. I got 650W Enthusiast Series: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004LB5AZY SC Tom
