Folks: My company creates and deploys a kiosk system that has a slightly odd arrangement of displays, and we are finding that if a system is powered-down, this arrangement gets lost and must be manually re-created by our support team. What makes this complicated is that while our kiosk has two physical displays, we use one of the display ports on the motherboard (or, on our older systems a dedicated video card) as a "virtual monitor" that used only for remote support to do work "behind the scenes". My kiosk runs Win7 pro, uses embedded display adapters for display 1 and 2 and a cheap add-in card for the virtual display 3. I would like to find a way to script this such that every time the system boots, this script (or even program) arranges the displays exactly the way we want them. The problem is - I'm not a coder, I'm a "middle-ware" guy who builds & supports images for our company. I suspect this isn't all that hard to do - just a script to say something like: Display 2 is main display, is landscape and has 1920x1080 resolution Display 1 is secondary display, is portrait, is 768x1360 and is oriented directly above display 2Display 3 is the virtual display, is landscape is 1600x1080 and is oriented directly to the right of display 2 Yes, this is strange - I admit. This is what I inherited so this is what I need to sort out. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks much
