Need help with bluescreens!
I'm at a loss at this point, I'm not a computer expert so I'm not sure what to do. I was getting blue screens and after trying many things I finally decided to format and reinstall. I also recently bought a new Video card, but that only went in last night the blue screens have been happening for a while. At this point I need help from someone other than google! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000024 (0x00000000001904fb, 0xfffff88006c1b0e8, 0xfffff88006c1a950, 0xfffff80002ee3fd3). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 061011-22900-01. A corrected hardware error has occurred. Component: AMD Northbridge Error Source: Machine Check Exception Error Type: 14 Processor ID: 0 The details view of this entry contains further information. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The text in the "---'s" is two different errors I found in the event log at the time of my BSOD. I've tried pretty much everything I could find and at this point I am at a loss. http://cid-38cd9fe393eb18f4.skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx?resid=38CD9FE393EB18F4!102 That's a link to skydrive, the mini dump file of the crash. The non mini version was 400 mb so I can't post that. Any help would be awesome please and thank you.

I'd like to add this information incase it's of any you. I use windows 7, I recently replaced my PSU, GPU, and CPU Fan. (Last night, bluescreens been going on for a while.) I reformatted just the other night and did a fresh install, this is after waiting the grueling long time for the CHKDSK to check both drives. It's normally fast enough but I picked a setting I normally don't and it ended up taking half a day T.T. I was installing old games I haven't played in a very long time, and loaded up Diablo II. Upon loading immediately I got a BSOD. I thought perhaps it was just the game but I loaded it again (mind you, I picked Run As Admin this time) and it didn't freeze. So I'm a little lost now since it didn't BSOD again. I did days of backing up / transferring files and spent a lot of time learning how to put my computer back together with it's new parts in the hopes maybe it was my GPU but it's still happening so please help :x.

Definition: STOP 0x00000024, 0X0000024, 0X24 or NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM Applies to: Windows XP and other operating systems. This stop error means that your ntfs file system is corrupt (damage in the file system, bad hard drive data, corrupt SCSI or IDE drivers or a corrupt ntfs.sys file). How do I resolve the problem? There are two ways, 1, If you still can access Windows, try to disable any backup programs, virus scanning programs or disk defragmenter tools. Try also to run a hardware diagnostics tool to detect any errors your hard drive might have. And run chkdsk /r to detect and repair any file system structural damage. 2, If you are unable to load Windows. Then you should try to access your ntfs partitions by making a ntfs boot disk with NTFS4DOS (freeware). You can download it from http://www.geekswhoknow.com/files/ntfsinst.exe You will need a floppy disk. After you load the bootable floppy disk onto your damaged system, select either option one (1) or option three (3). If you selected option one (1), type chkdsk /r at the command prompt, and your problem should go away after the disk has been repaired. Note! Unfortunately there is a chance that your partition is corrupt beyond repair and all of your data is lost. In that case, you need to reformat the partition to be able to use it again. As I said prior I think I need a little more help than google can provide. I read this exact post via google search on this issue from a different website - even down to the "Good luck!" 1) I do not have any back up programs running, my Avast isn't the issue as I installed that after I started getting blue screens because I read there was a possibility of it being a virus, I don't run any defragmenter tools except once a month and I did a full CHKDSK scan more than once on both of my hard drives which yielded zero results. 2) I can load into Windows. I'd appreciate any help beyond what a simple google search yields sadly I think I'm beyond the point of being able to take advantage of it. I will indeed do another chkdsk, and I will indeed find a hardware diagnostics tool, but I'd really like someone that knows what's up in the minidmp file department to help me out. I've replaced some of my components in an attempt to see if those were the issues - based on google searching for hours and reading. That little adventure cost me hundreds of dollars and I still get bluescreens. Hundreds of dollars and many many hours later I'm still getting BSOD's so I'd GREATLY appreciate some help please and thank you. I'm at my wits end!

A corrected hardware error has occurred. Component: AMD Northbridge Error Source: Machine Check Exception Error Type: 14 Processor ID: 0 The details view of this entry contains further information. Event ID: 21 -------------------------- I am noticing I also get this error in the Event Viewer and a Beep at the start up of the PC (I'm not sure but I think that's very new, the beep, I don't recall it happening before..) From what I understand that's part of the Motherboard, and it is used to communicate between the CPU, PCI-E GPU, and RAM. I did a test with SiSoftware, and when it started testing the Mobo I blue screened again with a different error. The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c0000096, 0xfffff88006e156bb, 0xfffff88009424fd0, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 061011-18766-01. Event Id: 1001 ------------------------------ Now, I apparently had forgotten to install the Mobo Disc, and so I did that however in the process I did 3 restarts installing them and doing a chkdsk and I still get that Whea-Logger error. Do you guys think it's my Mobo?

Your errors point toward the very strong possibility you have hardware problems. As such this is not a hardware diagnostic forum. It is a Windows 7 Operating System forum. Just because you happen to have Windows 7 on your computer does not put this in the realm of an operating system problem. As revealed by searching the internet for both your error messages, the information for both messages have existed for many years. Since both of your error message indicate they are related to the AMD Northbridge, I suspect you have a defective motherboard! There is nothing Windows 7 can do to compensate for defective hardware nor can it fix defective hardware. Contact the Technical Support of your motherboard manufacturer or system manufacturer. The whole reason I was asking for help was because with the wide variety of errors, with their wide variety of possible causes, which all happened immediately after installing windows... I was fairly sure that there was some form of driver issues that I just couldn't figure out - but after that hardware test crashing on the motherboard at this point I'm just going to get another mobo if it crashes again when I test it here in a second. Thanks for all the help, at this point I'm fairly sure it's hardware as well. It's just too bad the $600 of hardware I purchased because of the errors pointing to that turned out to be pointless... weee...
