I am using Windows 7 Ultimate on my HP Netbook with N450 Processor. I have installed various required programs on my Netbook. I need to create a backup/ system repair disk so that in case of any error OS as well as Programs can be restored to a functional point. It has got no optical drive. Kindly suggest a solution.

You can open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Backup and Restore, click “Create a system image”. You need another partition on the computer, or an external hard drive to save the image.Arthur Xie - MSFT
