Netword Sharing
My Windows 7 desktop is a member of my domain and has files and folders shared with full permissions to everyone. For some reason, other computers on the network, both Windows 7 and others, cannot access these shares. My PC shows up on the network but the shares do not work. Diagnostics cannot detect the problem. Otherwise, this machine works fine and can share all other shares on the network/domain

Add Everyone to Security tab ====================== 1) Right click the shared folder and click Properties. 2) Click Security and click Edit. 3) Click Add. 4) Type: Everyone and click OK. 5) Assign Read permission to Everyone. 6) Click OK. 2. If the shared folder still can’t be accessed, please temporarily disable Windows Firewall and security software. 3. Try accessing the shared folder using UNC path: \\machine_name\folder 4. Access the folder using IP address, you can use nslookup to resolve the IP address for the shared folder. Best Regards Dale
