Network Adapter Power Management - Win XP
I am using XP on a laptop computer. When I connect the rj45 connection while on battery I get a very slow connection rate. When I connect rj45 while on external power I get maximum connection rate. I know there are power management settings by right-clicking on the device and selecting properties, then selecting the power management tab. I've seen an option in Vista and Win7 to lower connection speeds when mobile devices are on battery power. I cannot find this same setting in Windows XP however. Is there a way to select/de-select this option in XP as I've found in other Windows OS?1 person got this answerI do too
