Network Adapter doesn't save settings
Hello, I experiencing an problem while configurating the network adapter. First time when I type the settings everything works fine but after restarting windows 7 the network connection is broken. I can't ping any computer out of the local network. When I browsed the settings I recognized that the entry for the standard gateway is gone but the other entrys are present. After retyping the standardgateway and deactivating and activating the network adapter windows 7 don't assume the setting and it's gone again and the network doesn't work. Sometimes the standardgateway setting is assumed but the network connection doesn't work again. Is there anyone who recognized an similar problem ? What could I do? larsux

Addition: After restarting windows 7 the network adapter has an automatic configurated ip addres like 169.XXX.XXX.XXX with the subnetmask 255.255.0.0 although there is the ip address 172.28.190.131 with the subnetmask 255.255.255.0 configurated in the network setting of the adapter. I don't understand this, what a Bug?

Have you tried changing the connection speed on your NIC? If you are at Auto try 100/Full or vice versa.
