Network Adapters disappeared?
When I tried to access the internet today, there were no network adapters recognized by the computer? I checked device manager and no Network adapters were visible? Last night I had no issues browsing the internet. No updates last night as I shut the computer down. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have very limited computer skills. Thanks, Norm NJS331 person needs an answerI do too

Possible causes may be faulty Network adapter Check the BIOS setting if network adapter (PCI slot in case of PCI Network Adapter) is not deactivated If the NIC is PCI based ,Change the PCI slot Still not solved get a new network card it will work for sure Regards

how do you check BIOS settings?? When you start the computer it should ask you to press a button (probably F2 or DEL or something like that) to enter SETUP. That's before Windows starts. That's how you get into the BIOS.-B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook
