Network connected but no internet access - DNS server not responding
I've been very frustrated trying to solve this problem. I can connect to the modem (with wireless router or directly to modem), but it always gives me the little exclamation "No Internet Access". I've tried on different computers and devices with the same result, so it seems like it must be a problem with the modem, but powering it off/on seems to do nothing. When I try to troubleshoot on Windows 7, it says "DNS server not responding". I've flushed the dns and done everything I could think of. I'm no networking expert, but when I looked at the connection properties, they seemed to be configured properly.

To troubleshoot this problem, do the following: 1. Run ipconfig to see the IP address of your computer 2. Ping the IP address of your router 3. Check the same tests with another computer.
