My computer starts, but windows doesn't load properly. XP graphics won't load so it looks more like an older version of windows. There are no network connections, so obviously I cna't connect to the internet or to other machines on the network. While trouble-shooting I realized that a lot of services aren't running, and won't run. These include: Network Connections, Cryptographic Services, and Remote Procedure Call (RPC). I've also found that I can't open Mcafee, even though it appears to be running. In addition, I cannot uninstall any programs, move file locations, or copy any files. The only thing I seem to be able to do is open files and delete them. All of this happened after I attempted to upgrade UPS worldship software. The computer crashed and when it opened back, Windows would shut down within 60 seconds. This happened twice. Third re-boot and things were left where they are now. Any help would be welcome! 2 people need an answerI do too
